Was amazing! Food was very particular and fresh, never taste nothing similar. The roll, the nigiri otoro and the 2 soup he served us was my favorites. Sushi chef speak smooth english (is not common in Japan!) and he teach us about what he served. Recommended! (Book in advance!)
I had an amazing omakase lunch experience. The sushi was absolutely delicious, fresh, delicate, and beautifully prepared. The chef was very kind and welcoming, making the experience even more special. The restaurant has only six seats, which creates an intimate and calm atmosphere, and the space is carefully designed with great attention to detail. This was my very first omakase and I couldn’t be happier. I truly loved every moment and I highly recommend this place to anyone who wants an authentic and unforgettable sushi experience.
A truly amazing experience during our honeymoon in Japan. This was our first Omakase experience, and it was spectacular. Each course was so fresh and amazing; the tuna nigiri was my absolute favourite. The chef is so skilled and clearly has a lot of experience. He speaks English, and will be able to explain each course to you so don’t worry if you don’t speak Japanese. There are only 6 seats at the counter so you will always get a personal experience here. When we arrived, there was one other Japanese couple in there who we had fun speaking to. This was an amazing and immersive experience. Thank you so much!
Highlight meal while in Tokyo. The food journey start to finish was fantastic. You could taste the freshness in every bite. Chef was super friendly and his passion for good food was very evident. He even helped me select a gyuto knife once I told him I was searching for one this trip. I’ll be recommending this to everyone who comes to Tokyo. Oh and excellent Sake as well
I recently dined at Asakusa Omakase Sushi Restaurant, a charming omakase with just six seats. Chef Horikawa was initially reserved but soon revealed his friendly nature, enhancing the experience. The food was incredibly fresh, showcasing meticulously prepared dishes that delighted the palate. The sake pairings were expertly matched, elevating the flavors of each course. This intimate setting truly offers a personal dining experience. Highly recommended for sushi lovers—can't wait to return!
First Omakase ever for me and my wife while we visited Japan from NY. 100% recommend. Extremely friendly husband and wife (I believe) duo and the fish was wonderful. Definitely not for teens or kids unless their tastes are much more mature. We made a lunch reservation (the special tier) vs tabelog and the service was prompt and impeccable. We were in and out in about an hour. There is only the chef owner and a table serving six patrons max. Thank you for a wonderful omakase/lunch!! Oh my favorite was probably the sea urchin!!
